Green vertical city(Invisible Revolution)

concept

The central concept is to design a green vertical city, which is a package of all facilities that a residential building needs, otherwise those residentials will be dormitories. The project in the southwest of Montreal, Quebec, Canada. The project is located in Saint-Henri neighbourhood which is known as a post-industrial zone with industrial morphology. Based on the analysis done in the climate, the wind is known as a serious problem in North American cities especially in winter. So, we decided to use wind as an element which revolutionizes the concept. The initial volume is divided into several cubes, and while the wind pushes the cubes in different directions, it shapes them. Since the wind is an invisible element which revolutionizes the volume, this project is called “Invisible Revolution.”
